ELION is extremely proud to present its very first collab!
To celebrate their 50th anniversary, SMILEY® has chosen several leading brands in their field and their choice obviously went to ELION for the elegant image with which the brand is associated as well as for its know-how in combat sports. .
And what could be more normal to celebrate 50 years of SMILEY® than to use our signature pair of Elegant boxing gloves as a base and to dress them in the emblematic colors of SMILEY®!
The Elegant is made from the best materials available for a boxing glove and for SMILEY® we went even further.
Made from top-of-the-range full-grain Nappa leather, this type of leather seemed obvious to us in order to provide increased resistance over time.
In addition, we have chosen a yellow leather that is a little darker than the original SMILEY® color in order to assert this touch of French elegance and refinement.
The popular expression says that the devil is in the details, an expression that we have tried to follow to the letter!
The nylon interior is for the first time on L'Elegant entirely printed with small SMILEYs while obviously keeping its anti-perspiration properties.
We have added a second symmetry already present on the Elegant but this time by playing with the ELION X SMILEY® logo which, once on guard, makes the collab's logo appear!
Elegance is synonymous with graceful and light beauty, which is why we wanted this pair of boxing gloves to be fine and sleek.
The style and design of this pair of boxing gloves is a continuation of the products in the Collection Paris range.
Instead of the ELION Paris marking on the seam yoke running along the entire thumb to the base of the glove, we have printed the SMILEY® Original logo.
Signature boxing glove par excellence, the Elegant is, with its streamlined shape, an attack glove, ready to thwart all defences!
To do this, we have used a new absorbent foam so that the glove can protect your hands and metacarpals from all impacts during your intensive training, but without the glove being too imposing or bulky, elegance requires.
In addition, we have added padding on both sides and along the entire length of the hand to play two important roles:
- The first to provide more protection and cushioning when defending.
- The second to provide optimal wrist support.
For this limited edition, the Elegant is delivered in its rounded anniversary box in the shape of the SMILEY Original and its black velvet pouch represented by the embroidered ELION X SMILEY® logo.
